6. Getting Started

Select a grouping option that suits your organization most (see examples 1 through 4).

Create a new user in the selected group. To do so:

  • Select Create a user…
  • In the dialog box that appears, type "test" as the login name, "test user" as the user name, "123" as the password, "123" as the password confirmation.
  • Select authentication method: by IP, over VPN/PPPoE, or through IdecoAgent

Select a computer within the local network and configure it as described in section 3, using 10.0.0.3 as the address, 255.255.255.0 as the netmask.

To authenticate over VPN, establish a VPN connection using "test" as the login name, "123" as the password.

To authenticate by IP, specify the user computer’s address in the IP field: 10.0.0.3.

To authenticate through IdecoAgent, download IdecoAgent.exe from http://10.0.0.1, save it to disk, and then execute. Specify "test" as the login name, "123" as the password.

After you establish the connection, the computer should have access to the Internet.

Under section Monitor, take a look at the list of connected users.
